AFCON 2027 trip budget
What a fan trip to Nairobi for AFCON 2027 costs - rooms, tickets, getting around, the eTA and safari add-ons - in shillings and dollars.
Where the figures come from
- The eTA is US$ 30 per traveller, and most African nationals do not need one. See Applying for an eTA.
- Nairobi National Park charges non-resident adults US$ 80 a day. See Nairobi National Park.

Keeping the cost down
- Stay near your stadium, or near the Expressway, to cut matchday rides.
- Book refundable rooms now and firm up once the draw sets the fixtures.
- Use M-Pesa rather than changing lots of cash. See M-Pesa and mobile money.
